Phaedra Deckart is Chief Executive Officer of the Solstice Energy Group, a Tasmanian-based business operating across gas networks, retail energy and renewable gases.
She leads a business that sits between energy supply and customers, with visibility across both sides of the system. Since stepping into the role, she has repositioned the company from a single-focus gas network to a broader energy provider. This has included leading the company’s entry into electricity retailing in Tasmania, progressing renewable gas projects and strengthening the role of existing infrastructure in a changing energy system.
Phaedra brings more than 25 years’ experience across domestic and global energy markets. She focuses on what can be delivered in practice, with an emphasis on reliable supply, affordable energy and policy settings that support long-term investment.
As CEO, she has also strengthened leadership capability and built a more customer-focused organisation, positioning the business for long-term growth.
She is a Director on the Board of Energy Networks Australia, the national body representing Australia’s electricity and gas networks.
